Overview
We're hiring an exceptional Founding Product Manager to help us bring Olis to life. This is your chance to lead, architect, and help deploy systems as a PM. We are looking for someone who's deeply technical that also carries many responsibilities of an early CTO / Head of Product.
You will own the product from prototype to pilots to first production deployments, and lead the engineering team to hit real client deadlines, not just internal milestones. As we’re at an early stage of the startup, we're looking for someone who's as ambitious, driven, product-obsessed, and operates at a high bar. Responsiblities
Translate leadership direction and client needs into a clear, realistic roadmap and release plan.
Own the Chrome extension + backend experience end-to-end: intent detection, RAG, LLM behavior, answer formatting, and integrations.
Work hands-on with backend and frontend engineers: read code with them, debug issues, tune retrieval/LLM behavior, and unblock technical problems quickly.
Define milestones, run standups, track progress, and hold the team accountable to deployment dates and pilot timelines.
Help shape our knowledge graph / data model so answers can be pulled correctly from multiple sources and rendered in a coherent, enterprise-ready way.
Act as the main product/technical owner in client pilots: understand their environment, constraints, and success criteria, and translate that into concrete deliverables for engineering.
Requirements
5+ years building complex backend-heavy / AI-powered products as a PM, tech lead, or engineer-turned-PM.
Strong technical depth: you understand (and can discuss in detail) RAG, vector stores, LLM orchestration, Chrome extensions, cloud/on-prem deployments, VMs, and permissions/security basics.
You’ve led small teams before and know how to set milestones, enforce accountability, and keep communication transparent.
You’re comfortable treating this like a production enterprise system, not a side project: you think in SLAs, failure modes, and deployment readiness.
You can engage with enterprise and healthcare/government buyers enough to understand their needs, even if you’re not a domain expert.
You value direct communication, ownership, and don’t need the founder in every dev meeting to keep momentum.
